BENJAMIN PERCY

The Wilding received a starred review from Publishers Weekly. "A contemporary Deliverance."

Ben scaled and hammocked the night in a 250-ft old growth Douglas fir. His article about it will appear in The Wall Street Journal this September.

Ben has a short story -- called "James Franco" -- that will appear in the September issue of Esquire.

Ben has an article in the June issue of Outside magazine called "Never Been to Disneyland."

Ben reads from his story -- "Heart of a Bear" -- published in the March/April issue of Orion. Download the podcast here.

USA Today has listed the illustrated adaptation of Refresh, Refresh as one of the top ten comics/graphic novels of the year.

In February of 2011 filmmaker James Ponsoldt will begin filming "Refresh, Refresh" on-site in Central Oregon

Dodge dropped off a one-ton Ram at Ben's house. He writes about the experience in the July issue of Esquire. Click here to read the article.

"Like Elwood Reid and Jim Harrison, Benjamin Percy's stories are big-muscled and big-hearted.  His characters hurl themselves toward change like salmon hurling their way home.  This is feisty American fiction."

Alyson Hagy, Author of Graveyard of the Atlantic, Keeneland, Hardware River and Madonna on her Back.
